Randomly stumbled upon Kelley Country Creamery coming back from a weekend trip from Door County to Madison. Was shocked to see a large line outside despite the shop being located in the middle of nowhere where! Can confirm the ice cream was amazing. They have seasonal flavors with many options. A single scoop is absolutely massive and was so tasty. Would recommend to anyone who is near the area.
My ice cream reviews are always challenging against unachievable expectations. In short, I'd travel 30 minutes each way for the ice cream alone, but add an hour each way if you have small kids and the weather is nice. That makes this a must see stop for families. The place is IDYLLIC for families or travelers seeking a break. It's only 3 mins off the freeway on an easy country highway. There's a kid-rolling hill, giant chairs, picnic tables, porch chairs, cows and of course ice cream. As for the ice cream, I'm giving four stars for flavor and texture. Five stars for quality and service. Ten stars for ambiance. That makes it a perfect family destination with absolutely great ice cream but I don't think ice cream gourmands will travel more than 30 minutes, although it's probably the best place for miles.
By far the best ice cream in Wisconsin. Been going here my entire life and have never had a bad experience. They offer many unique flavors, and they are all worth trying. Every flavor is homemade and has great taste and exceptional texture. If you're in the area, I would HIGHLY recommend stopping by. It truly is the best ice cream in the middle of nowhere.

The best ice cream and ice cream treats in the area. Has a very quaint atmosphere and we visited when the adjacent field of sun flowers was in full bloom which made our trip especially pleasant!
This place is so cute! Set off the side of the highway it's perfectly outfitted with picnic tables and a Sunflower field at the right time of the season. Great unique flavors of ice cream and some favorites too. You can sit and watch their cows be adorableand take pictures in the giant lawn chair! The staff is very friendly and helpful! There are lots of great products to take home too! They even have treats for your pups! We'll definitely be back!
If you question if you've made a wrong turn, just keep going. It's definitely off the beaten path but well worth the trip. Get a flight of ice cream and TRY and pick a favorite. We had the holy cow, Irish cream, caramel swirl and peanut butter peanut butter cup. They were all good but holy cow was my favorite. And don't forget to grab a cup for you pup. There is a small area to sit inside but there tons of room outside with chairs lining the porch and several picnic tables in the grass. We'll definitely be back when we're in the area
